Premier skid steer loader earth auger bits come in numerous varieties. We offer medium duty economical options as well as our standard double flight construction grade. Single flight medium duty augers are an economical choice when the soil conditions are light and the usage is intermittent. Don’t let the price fool you though, even these augers are built with the same integrity and components as their double flighted counterparts. The cost savings comes from the single flighted build. We offer these in a 4’ overall length with connecting collar sizes of 2” Round, 2-9/16” Round and 2” Hex. Normal stocking sizes of these are 4” diameter to 24” diameter.
Medium duty double flight are the most common augers we build. Being double flighted gives you more capacity to move the dirt out of the hole faster. We refer to these augers as our “CDF” line of earth auger bits. These augers are great in the light to moderate digging conditions. This auger is built with a one piece cast steel boring head that the replaceable teeth bolt onto. By using a casting we can pitch the teeth at different angles for a more aggressive digging action. All of our competitors use a flat piece of steel on their standard augers to hold the teeth which let them only dig at one angle. We offer these in a 4’ over all length with connecting collar sizes of 2” Round, 2-9/16” Round, 2” Hex and 2-1/2” Hex. Normal stocking sizes of these are 4” diameter to 36” diameter. We also offer the “CDF” style of earth augers in lengths of 3’, 5’ and 6’ as standard.
Heavy duty double flight augers are ideal in tougher digging applications. We refer to these augers as our “CDC” line of auger bits. These augers are built with a one piece cast steel boring head that the teeth are held into. These one piece steel castings hold the teeth at very aggressive angles making them dig great in compacted soils, frozen soils and even in mixed dirt and cobble applications. dirt as well as very effective in a dirt and cobble mix. We offer these in a 4’ overall length with connecting collar sizes of 2” Round, 2-9/16” Round, 2” Hex and 2-1/2” Hex. Normal stocking sizes of these are 4” diameter to 48” diameter. We also offer the “CDC” style of earth augers in lengths of 3’, 5’ and 6’ as standard.
Tree Augers are the ideal landscaper’s labor saving tool. These are built by using two different diameters of flighting to give the hole a step or taper once the hole is dug. This provides a place for compost to be placed or other soil amendments to be done prior to the tree being planted. An additional benefit is that the shape of the hole that is dug helps eliminate air pockets that could be left if the hole would have been dug with a conventional flat bottom earth auger. Premier’s tree auger is what we refer to as our “CDT” tree auger. We build these augers in 18”, 24”, 30”, 36”, 42” and 48“ diameters. We offer these in a 4’ over all length with connecting collar sizes of 2” Round, 2-9/16” Round, 2” Hex and 2-1/2” Hex.
Rock augers, name says it all… These carbide tipped earth auger bits thrive in rock. These can handle the toughest conditions and are built heavy to handle it all. We use thicker flighting and thicker center tubes along with hardfacing all leading edges. The more down pressure you can provide the better they do. We build these from 4” diameter to 48” diameter. We offer these in a 4’ over all length with connecting collar sizes of 2” Round, 2-9/16” Round, 2” Hex and 2-1/2” Hex. We also build these rock augers in 3’, 5’ and 6’ standard lengths.
Whether it is for a skid steer earth auger attachment or a compact track loader earth auger attachment All of these earth auger bits can be customized to the job at hand. We offer all types of upgraded teeth and center points, or fishtails, such as hardfaced and even carbide options for all augers. So if you have a special request rest assured that Premier can handle it. With all of our manufacturing being done in our plant in Fort Wayne, Indiana we can handle it.
