These horizontal elliptical oscillation screens, act to reproduce and optimize the dynamic movement that is typical of manual screens. These machines are particularly suited to the installation of delicate mesh, either metallic or made of organic fibre, which are used for the sieving and sizing of ultra-fine materials, achieving results that are difficult to obtain with other kinds of screen. The SVP screens are activated by a flat translation movement along the elliptical trajectory on the deck itself. These trajectories have a constant width oscillation along the screen axis, while the transversal oscillation action reaches it maximum extent near the material feeder inlet, and diminishes gradually until it is completely dissolved, near the rear suspensions of the screen, before increasing once again in the vicinity of the discharge outlet.

This movement acts to violently spread the material along the whole length of the screen thereby making full use of the sieving surface area. The mesh slides under the material which due to the effects of inertia remains immobile.
The meshing is cleaned by means of rubber ball elements which gently tumble over the lower surface of the screen mesh.
The material advances in a constant and regular manner thanks to the machine inclination. The motion features as described above, together with the special structure of the screen decks, ensures the long life of the mesh itself, helping to prevent the risk of clogging and acting to improve the actual sieving results so that they exceed the optimum operating safety levels.
