Agrónic Monocable is a telemanagement system for solenoids activation, and meters and remote sensors reading using a single bifilar wire.

Agrónic Monocable is a telemanagement system for solenoids activation, and meters and remote sensors reading using a single bifilar wire.

The system is based on an Agrónic Monocable Link (EAM) to which up to 120 modules may be connected of any of the possible models. This system in connectable and manageable through the units Agrónic 4000, Agrónic 7000 and Agrónic Net, and to any other device that works with the Modbus protocol.

The Agrónic Monocable Modules (MAM) have, among its benefits, a high protection against storms and surges which allows them to offer complete guarantees of operation.

The system is very fast at communicating, and in less than 2 minutes we have the information of all the modules in the central station (when we have 120 MAM per EAM). All the inputs and outputs are configurable, for a valve, filter, fertilizer, etc. Moreover, for a proper and convenient installation, it has extractable terminals (in the case of not encapsulated MAM), and a reader to facilitate manual configuration and verification.

Currently there are three models of MAM for hydrant box:

MAM2-41:

  • 2 latch solenoids of 2 wires (or 1 of 3 wires)
  • 4 digital inputs (2 may be meters) and 1 sensor

MAM5-71

  • 5 latch solenoids of 2 wires (or 2 of 3 wires)
  • 7 digital inputs (5 may be meters) and 1 sensor

MAM8-101:

  • 8 latch solenoids of 2 wires (or 4 of 3 wires)
  • 10 digital inputs (8 may be meters) and 1 sensor
  • And four models of encapsulated MAM to be installed outdoors:

MAM1-20:

  • 1 latch solenoid of 2 wires
  • 2 digital inputs / meters

MAM2-00:

  • 2 latch solenoids of 2 wires or 1 of 3 wires

MAM3-20:

  • 3 latch solenoids of 2 wires or 1 of 3 wires
  • 2 digital inputs / meters

MAM1-20R:

  • 1 relay output (24v)
  • 2 digital inputs / meters

The EAM has a capacity for up to 120 MAM, the connection topology is free and the line may exceed 10 km (always depending on the conditions). The connection cable allows both power supply and communication between the MAMs. So a single cable can manage and supply the modules of the system, without any external elements, only the hydrant box.

The EAM (with UPS) is equipped with batteries which last for several hours in case of a general power cut. There is the option of equipping it with batteries of a higher capacity to work several days in extreme cases of prolonged cuts.

The configuration, consultation and manual activation is carried out through the Modules Reader, with screen and keyboard.
Agrónic Monocable is compliant with all the norms defined by the CE.

The products created by Progrés enjoy a 2 year warranty against all manufacturing defects.
