This natural oil product is a source of crude fat for inclusion in animal feed for aquaculture, poultry and pets. It contains a mix of fatty acids including Omega 3, 6 and 9 and can be mixed directly into feed pellets or used as a nutritional coating.

Enterra Oil has the following characteristics:

  • An ideal source of metabolizable energy for fish and poultry
  • Similar in chemical profile to a mixture of fish oil, palm kernel oil and coconut oil
  • Easily fractionated to form a pure saturated fraction and unsaturated fraction
  • Long shelf-life (6 months +) with no additives
  • Non-toxic and safe to handle
  • Solid at room temperature (melting point: 40 °C)
  • To ensure Enterra Oil products adhere to high quality and safety standards specified in CFIA, FDA, and EU regulatory
  • regimes, production lots are routinely analyzed for heavy metals, mycotoxins, PCBs, dioxins, E. Coli, Salmonella, and total

Enterra Oil can be further separated into Unsaturated and Saturated Oil products.

Enterra Unsaturated Oil has the following characteristics:

  • Similar in chemical profile to a mixture of fish oil, olive oil, pecan oil, canola oil, peanut oil and macadamia oil
  • Ideal replacement for animal and vegetable based feed oil ingredients
  • Most abundant fatty acid is Oleic acid (C18:1w9), which is highly digestible and can be included in diets of poultry and fish
  • at relatively high inclusion rates
  • Liquid at room temperature (melting point: 13 °C)

Enterra Saturated Oil has the following characteristics:

  • Similar in chemical profile to a mixture of palm kernel oil and oconut oil
  • Ideal for use as building blocks for cosmetics or pharmaceuticals
  • Most abundant saturated fatty acid is lauric acid (C12:0), which is highly digestible and known to have anti
  • -microbial activity
  • Solid at room temperature (melting point: 40 °C)
