Natuzyme Feed Enzyme

Natuzyme is a high quality & multi-activity feed enzyme formulated for specifically swine, broiler, layer, duck, turkey, ruminant and aqua feeds to enable better nutrient utilisation, resulting in more high quality meat, eggs or milk with lower total costs. Natuzyme contains cellulase, xylanase, beta-glucanase, alpha-amylase, protease, lipase and phytase and other enzymes.  The enzymes have a wide pH range, long-term stability and high temperature tolerance and high levels of enzyme activity enabling Natuzyme to be successfully applied to animal feeds with excellent results under wide ranging conditions around the world.

Many plant based feeds contain substrates with Anti-Nutritional Factors (ANFs) that reduce animal growth.  Natuzyme enzymes improves digestibility of these ANFs by degrading fibres, proteins, starches and phytates in feed to become digestible enabling the use of cheaper and often locally produced feeds while maximising meat, egg or milk productivity.

A single enzyme like phytase will only release phosphorous stored in phytate but not extract energy from feed.  Feed qualities (NSP content, protein, energy, fat, etc) and feed prices can fluctuate significantly and unexpectedly.  For these reasons, only a multi-enzyme approach will fully capture nutrition value by degrading all ANFs in all circumstances.  In response to this, Bioproton developed Natuzyme in the 80s and 90s to provide Simplicity, Cost Effectiveness and Flexibility in feed enzyme use. We continue R&D with our partner, University of Queensland’s Australian Institute for Bioengineering and Nanotechnology (AIBN) in developing and producing feed enzymes with improved characteristics, which we incorporate into Natuzyme at strategic points.

  • Upgrading feed efficiency of cereal diets on poultry (layers and broilers), turkeys, aqua and ruminant feeds.
  • Natuzyme can be applied into many different feeds corn / soy / wheat / barley / rice (bran) / wheat (bran) / DDGS and other locally available ingredients.

Recomended Dose Rate

Typical dosage rate is 350g/Ton feed, in very low quality feed scenarios this can be increased to 500g/Ton Feed and still achieve economic benefit from Natuzyme use.  For layers the dose rate is 250g/Ton feed.  For Ruminants the dose rate is 20g/head/day.
