OPCO has an extensive capability to produce Dielectric Reflective Coatings on a wide variety of substrates. We produce and supply Optical Grade coatings on optics produced in-house as well as substrates supplied by our customers. All dielectric reflective coatings are more durable than metallic coatings. In addition, they can be optimized for certain wavelength ranges to create laser “V” coatings and laser “W” coatings. Finally, they are ideal for creating partial reflectors used for beamsplitters or windows to control light throughput. They also can be used to control polarization or they can be used in combination with a metallic basecoat to create a hybrid optical coating.
