The deep tilling aims to provide loosening of the top layer of the soil, which will improve the absorbing ability of the soil and in combination with the entered air, will enhance the biological processes. The stubble cultivators are used for deep loosening of soil – up to 30 cm. Their aim is to break to crust of top soil and to improve the soil aeration. Those cultivators are used in processes with minimal soil tillage. They are designed with both hard stands and with non-stop protection, filled with springs or leaf springs. The operational bodies are usually chisel-shaped with flat cutters that turn the soil and cut the roots of the weeds.
The operational depth of STUBBLE CULTIVATORS PEGAS is up to 30 cm. It is used for stubbles after harvesting the previous crops. The cultivator is offered in operational width from 2 to 9 m. This equipment should be attached to tractors with power from 100 hp to 500 hp.
The protection of the operational bodies is a spring one – a spring into a spring. In the rear can be installed a disk section for crushing lumps.
CULTIVATOR PEGAS FOR PROCESSING AFTER PLOWING
The cultivation is loosening the soil at a depth of 20 cm, combined with trimming the weeds. The aim of the operation is:
- To loosen the plowed soil, which under the influence of rainfalls and other reasons, is highly firmed;
- To break the thick and very solid soil crust, which can not be broken by the harrows;
- For trimming the weeds that have emerged after plowing.
Cultivators reach at 15-20 cm and are commonly used for fallow. Their purpose is to loosen the soil crust, to destroy the weeds and to level the soil top layer from the previous plowing. The stands for the operational bodies have constant protection.
The vibration of the stand due to different soil resistance increases their loosening action and helps the self-cleaning from plant debris.
Typically used are the arrow-shaped bodies. For proper operation of the cultivator it is necessary the operational units to be located so that the tip of one operational body coincides with the end of the wing of the other.

SEEDBED CULTIVATORS PEGAS
The seedbed cultivation is an operation that targets loosening the soil crust, destroying the weeds, leveling the area and preparing the soil bed for upcoming sowing. The seedbed cultivators operate at depth of 5-10 cm. Their stands are S-shaped. The soil cut by the clutches starts to slide up to the spring stand.When performing merged cultivation, the individual clutches of the cultivator have to work of equal depth. After the cultivators remains a feebly waved surface and the stands form furrows. Behind the cultivator can be mounted a tooth harrow or a surface leveler. Merged cultivation is carried out by seed beds or in the shuttle manner. As a rule, it is done transversely the direction of the plowing or at the prior cultivation.
