The LactoScope FTIR Milk Analyzer method is AOAC and IDF approved for the analysis of fat, protein, lactose, and total solids in milk. It's a state-of-the art instrument, with modern FTIR optics, and simple to use but powerful software. The LactoScope FTIR can test other products such as cream, yogurt and whey thereby increasing its value and versatility.

Accuracy

The fourier transform based optics ensure accurate and reproducible spectra collection. The available milk calibrations are based on many samples from around the world. These two attributes make the LactoScope FTIR Advanced the most accurate instrument available.

AOAC Approved

The LactoScope FTIR Advanced is AOAC approved for the analysis of fat, lactose, protein, and total solids in milk.

Versatility

In additions to milk, the instrument measure cream, whey, yogurt, cheese, and other dairy products for the aforementioned components and casein, density, true protein, NPN/calculated urea, and pH in some products.

Easy to use

The included software is intuitive to use and fosters Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and procedures. Results are seamlessly integrated to LIMS and other monitoring and database structures.
