Model PRB4G - For Plant Breeding
From Plant Breeding
PRB4G is a Xhanthomonas spp receptor gene present in Arabidopsis thaliana but absent in other plant species. It is activated by PRB4 in a specific manner. It has been shown that it modulates immune responses in plants after Xhanthomonas spp. infection. The gene can be overexpressed in a chimeric form to develop Xhanthomonas spp resistant plants. It is a patented gene induced by a natural product with cero residues.
