- Model P4400 - Highperforming Dairy Diets

For years fishmeal was a first choice ingredient for highperforming dairy diets. Since its removal dairy farmers have been searching for a feed that delivers everything that fishmeal did. That search is now over.

Promega is a unique combination of quality proteins and essential fatty acids derived from highly digestible oils and is as close as it is possible to get to traditional fishmeal with none of the draw backs. It is a highly palatable free flowing meal, designed to help optimise performance by: Providing the supply of quality DUP required to support efficient milk production

  • Supplying essential fatty acids and C16 fat
  • Providing EPA & DHA Omega-3 oils from marine oils, the most effective source
  • Boosting the immune system to improve overall health and efficiency
  • Together these mean:
  • Higher milk yields
  • More persistent peak yields
  • Reduced body condition score losses
  • Greater reproductive efficiency
  • Healthier, more profitable animals

Promega is also proven to increase milk letdown and yield in ewes, leading to stronger, faster standing lambs

Typical Daily Feed Rates

  • Dairy Cows: 500-2000 grams/head/day
  • Ewes: 125 grams/head/day

Variation in fatty acid profile comes from the raw materials themselves and the need to compensate for ambient temperatures.
