Compatibility
JUVENOX SC15 is compatible with most insecticides. However, to take advantage of its “ecological” properties it is advisable not to mix it with other insecticides.
Main target insect-pests
All larval phases of Diptera (houseflies, mosquitoes, chironomid midges, simulidae) in their development environment. The contact with or ingestion of diflubenzuron prevents larvae from completing their development to reach the adult stage and thus kills them. They die following inhibition of the activity of the chitin-syntetase enzyme whereby the insect is unable to form an efficient cuticle at the end of the moult phase. The insecticidal action of JUVENOX SC15 takes place comparatively slowly and gradually; in general, it takes 36-48 hours for the effect to become manifest. The insecticidal action, though, remains for a few weeks (3-4 on average), depending on the organi matter load of the water treated.
