Product Details
The project takes into consideration innovative technical solutions that make it unique in the market of feed mixer wagons. The cutting and mixing system is composed of a horizontal central asymmetric paddle auger (Ø 850 mm.) with knives and 2 top augers, using the exclusive Storti „Multiflow“ technology. The Multiflow system, designed by Storti, guarantees a highly homogeneous mix in short time, enables the best use of the tank capacity and is extremely effective also for small rations.
Since the beginning, Storti has been using a mechanical drive to the main mixing and cutting auger. This exclusive Storti system, by means of a specially designed gearbox and PTO shaft, transfers all the power from the engine to the mixing system. Thus reducing fuel consumption and maintenance costs. Since there are no hydraulic pump and motor, the risk of expensive replacements and/or downtime is extremely limited. The drive to the mixing augers is performed by means of a specially designed hydraulic clutch activated by an electric button situated in the cabin. The operator is free to start and stop the mixing system at any moment. The clutch is equipped with a mechanical wear control system.
