The VOLKAN 150 is an easy to use, top-loading incinerator. With a load capacity of 150kg, it is ideal for farmers needing to dispose of smaller waste volumes, up to that of a sizeable ewe. The operator simply loads the animal carcass into the main chamber and commences a burn programme. The incinerator can then be left unattended until the carcass has been reduced to ash. It is highly efficient, utilising automatic high heat-rate burners, low thermal mass linings and timer controls that ensure minimal running costs; a thermostat triggers burner shut-off when optimum temperatures are reached, increasing fuel efficiency significantly. The model is designed to use the inherent fuel properties within animal fat that aid combustion. With a burn rate of up to 50kg per hour, the VOLKAN 150 has low capacity status requiring no planning permission for farm usage. Easily installed on site, it simply requires concrete hardstanding and a 240-volt electricity & fuel supply. manual is provided with each incinerator.
