Wintec Aqua has developed a new control system on dual-tank pumps that prevents the last fish coming into the tanks from being squeezed by the inner flap valve when a suction cycle is ended.
Therefore Wintec Aqua fish pumps are the proper machinery for gentle and damagefree transport of live fish from pond to pond, to grading machines, transport basins etc.
The principle is based on two vacuum tanks that are filled one after the other giving a continuous flow of fish - and a capacity of 13-15 tons an hour, or even more depending on the size of fish.
The pump is also available with only one tank and half the capacity of the dual-tank pump.
In many cases a single-tank pump has a quite satisfactory capacity - depending on special needs. For feeding a grading machine a single-tank pump will most often have sufficient capacity, when we are talking about fish up to 600 gr.
The tanks are high positioned on a painted or hot galvanized frame and they are emtied just by the gravity of fish and water.
The pumps are vailable with 6 or 8 inches inlet and outlet. If needs are in excess of 8 inches we can give special quotations for such pumps.
The fish pumps work fully automatically and the vacuum valves are operated by compressed air from a compressor built on to the pump. The discharge height is adjustable up to app. 2,5 m by means of the jacks that are integrated parts of the frame.
If needs are in excess of that the frame can be built higher, or the fish pumps can be equiped with pneumatic cylinders that lift the tanks.
Single-tank pumps have many adjustable heights of the tank without pneumatic cylinders.
The F-types (emtied by gravity) are delivered with a draining system and 7 m og suction hose with suction funnel.
