North American's abrasive blasting services utilize mobile grit rigs equipped with blasting pots. These blasting pots can hold between 500 pounds and six tons of blast media. These units travel throughout North America. North American's blasting techniques, along with its large selection of blasting media meet a wide variety of blasting specifications. Abrasive blasting is often used for cleaning, inspection, testing, and resurfacing. North American performs abrasive cleaning on hydrostatic precipitators. This means you do not have to introduce water to your precipitator. This process is very efficient, and actually reduces waste and leaves the precipitator dry and ready to go back into services.

Abrasive blasting by definition is a method of cleaning by propelling an abrasive material through a machine and into a hose at high pressure.
