Study and project management

  • Client-focused research staff to ensure specific needs are met. Recognised skills in study designs and in the creation of study protocols.  ADAS employs appropriate quality standards, such as ISO9001:2000, GLP and GCP(v), in conducting research studies on commercial farms, demonstration farms and in dedicated research facilities.

Livestock husbandry and management

  • Experienced stockpersons and technicians competent to care for all classes of farmed livestock to high standards of husbandry and welfare, working to exacting research study requirements and to very high levels of disease biosecurity.  

Data collection and interpretation

  • ADAS staff are highly skilled in data collection, in the use of a range of statistical analysis procedures, in data interpretation and in report writing.

Total Facilities Management (TFM)

  • Encompassing all aspects of day-to-day study management, animal care, resource and staff management, budgeting and problem-solving in a TFM package, ADAS frees clients to focus on their key science and corporate issues.  ADAS is also able to manage very large, complex sheep and cattle studies whilst maintaining animal populations free from disease.
