Pollen Control Services
Many plants will produce abundant quantities of very lightweight pollen grains. Transfer of grains or pollination is generally mediated by the wind, which is a requirement for any healthy indoor garden. If pollen lands on a compatible pistil or female cone, it germinates, producing a seed. This is an undesirable process when farming certain crops. Pollination control is one of the major concerns of gardeners as it can affect the final outcome of different types of crops. Pollination occurs when pollen from the male plant reaches the female stigmas and finds its way to the egg cell of the female plant that is inside the pistil. After the process of pollination, the seed is produced which can be undesirable to some gardeners. To ensure pollen is effectively controlled, the AgriAir system will completely destroy up to 97% of airborne pollen.
