Soltec On-Site - Treatment of Underground Soil and Water Service
This process is applied when contaminated soils have already been excavated, or when undisturbed contaminated soil is in an area of low permeability that will not allow for the injection of reagents ‘in situ’. In this case, the reagents are mixed with the excavated contaminated soil in a mobile on-site mixer unit which was developed in cooperation with Les Industries Fournier in 2005.
This alternative allows Tecosol to offer a complete environmental rehabilitation plan based on a treatment that takes place directly on the site affected with soil contamination. This treatment solution, contrary to burying polluted soil, adheres to the concept of sustainable development as advocated by both the Canadian and Quebec governments.
