LiveData - Cloud based software interface
Analysis Models of Disease Development
Two somehow complementary model are available for vine downy mildew; the first one allows to evaluate micro-climatic conditions favorable to the start of first generation ed the development of later generations, on the basis of accurate on-filed data; the second one is a risk assessment model able to evaluate the infection danger level.
The system prediction capability is increased by using a proprietary agronomic tools, able to correlate pathogen development models with the phenologic stage of cultivation.
The first of those tools, referred to as Phenologic Agenda, is a simple and effective mean to record and store in the LiveData database the main plant evolution stages; on that basis, the agricultural models are able to realistically evaluate the pathogen development stage.
The second tool, referred to as Treatment Agenda, allows for recording in the database the treatment schedule and the coverage period of the treatment itself; at the end of the period the prediction models, taking in account for the treatment schedule and starting a new analysis cycle, accurately evaluate the infection risk.
Using our wireless distributed system, yields an even accurate analysis, as the models are backed by data measured at different locations on-field, and, thus, taking in account for microclimatic conditions and different treatments.
Evapotranspiration Evaluation Model
Evapotranspiration (ET) is a formula used to calculate the amount of water lost due to air evaporation and loss of water as vapor through plant stomata in its leaves.
The accurate ET evaluation, along with data collected by the rain gauge, allows for exact estimation of water amount (liters per square meter) required for achieving balance; furthermore the water deficit is calculated on a daily or monthly basis.
All Netsens system sample weather data at high data rate, typically 3 to 5 minutes. This results in a high number of sample being collected hourly by each sensor, and allows for ET calculation on an hourly basis..
That calculation represents the most advanced method for ET estimation, allowing for a very accurate measurement, even in variable weather days.
Access to stored data Is performed via LiveData platform (also available with LivePlus option). LiveData displays all the ET reports in mm/hour or mm/day, depending on the selected time base.
If wireless distributed units are installed, the ET is estimated at each distinct installation point.
The sensors required for ET estimation are:
- digital thermo-hygrometer
- anemometer
- visible solar radiation
- barometer
- rain gauge (for water balance).
Night Frost Prediction Model
The night frost prediction model makes available to the user, since 3 pm, an estimation of the frost insurgence risk. The probability is estimated using a mathematical model and is expressed in percentage. The model projects air relative humidity, temperature and dew point data, updated at minute rates, under constant weather conditions.
The frost prediction model automatically issues alerts via SMS or email, thus allowing you for timely and appropriate actions to be undertaken to prevent from possible damages to your cultivations.
