Finest screening of composted cow manure - Video
What you can see here is a cattle farm with more than 120,000 cows. The floors of the barns are stabilized with gravel and stones. The manure is being composted and the aim is to get the stones out of the compost. Therefore they screen the compost with a 12 mm perforation (0.5 inch). The finished compost is being loaded directly into a sprayer truck, filling it up in approx. 10 minutes. The finished compost is sold to other farmers and used on their own premises. The throughput capacity is 180 to. / hour. The fine grain of the compost is less than 12 mm.
