Since 2015, Oreka Solutions has been conducting research on the Black Soldier Fly to maximize its value and create products which drive more productive, sustainable agriculture.

The unique processes we use for breeding, feeding, growing and harvesting our insects come from this R&D and allow us to offer two high value feed additives, Immaris™ and Immaris+™ for aquaculture and Gallus™ for poultry.

We are close to completing the regulatory approvals to launch products for swine and ruminants.

Both our third-party research with academic institutions and the experience of our customers show that Oreka products can deliver a significant return on investment through better feed conversion, improved growth rates and reduced mortality.

We are currently expanding our operations and production capacity to support a greater number of customers and are continuing to deepen our research to unlock more of the value of the insect and drive further improvements in animal health and productivity.

Knowledge about the power of the Black Soldier Fly is still in its infancy. A pioneer in this new industry, Oreka has, over the last five years, become a global centre of excellence on the insect and on how to harness its value and deliver it to the food chain.
