LC/MS/MS Analysis of Mycotoxins

Mycotoxins are fungal poisons that threaten the world food supply. Regulatory agencies have imposed limits on levels of mycotoxins allowed in food. Food safety is ensured by testing for the presence of mycotoxins by methods such as LC-MS-MS.

In addition to mycotoxins, many other known and unknown chemicals threaten the food supply, however their presence might be missed by LC-MS-MS methods which rely exclusively on MRM settings for detection. Therefore we have developed an extremely fast and reliable method for the detection of mycotoxins in food which has the additional advantage of collecting survey scan and data dependent MS-MS for untargeted screening for other chemical threats.
