Project - Vivit Ranch Business Proposal

Vivit Ranch Pty Ltd is a farming initiative introducing new technologies in farming and organic livestock to the local community of the Eastern Cape. The shareholders aim to develop a sustainable, profitable and unique business model to ensure continuous improvement and organic growth of the ranch.

We will achieve this by using modern Integrated Farming System (IFS) technologies keeping operation costs and waste to a minimum. The

IFS model also reduces environmental effects of farming
by taking advantage of the interconnections in nature and efficiently converting them to useful resources.
Vivit Ranch Pty Ltd is a co-op venture with Mvikeli Nongxa heading the venture.

The farm is situated in Berlin, Eastern Cape (30 km from King William’s Town) and is approximately 85 hectares wide. Vivit Ranch’s core business will be planting vegetables {potatoes, spinach & hemp}, chickens and goats. Vivit Ranch Pty Ltd is relatively new to farming although they have all been exposed to farming as they are all from the Eastern Cape. The enterprise is a Full Time venture with experienced employees being hired for Management and operations.

Through Market research it is evident that there is are No organic farmers in EC, there is also no Chicken breeder in the eastern Cape. Thus there is a potential market for locally produce organic products. Vivit Ranch aims to effectively exploit this gap in the market by supplying EC produce, healthy and organic product and pioneering renewable energy farming in South Africa.
