A discussion about the challenges, impacts and opportunities for the Forest Product Chain-of-Custody (CoC). It is currently becoming more and more important to know exactly where your materials have come from. The purpose of this document is to provide an introduction to the Forest Product CoC certification requirements. This document is not intended to be a full explanation of the certification standards and related requirements or of its implementation. Rather, it aims to promote understanding of the standard and its benefits to organizations doing business at a domestic or international level within the forestry supply industry.
