BioFishency - Aquaculture Water Treatment System
BioFishency’s all-in-one water treatment system for aquaculture increases fish productivity, has a minimal ecological footprint, enhances water conditions, and significantly grows profitability. BioFishency overcomes two key aquaculture challenges: limited water availability and buildup of toxic ammonia (excreted by the fish). The system biologically treats the water used to eliminate the ammonia buildup and oxygenates the water. This substantially cuts the amount of water needed. By enhancing water conditions, the system improves the overall ability of the fish to survive, grow, and reproduce, which significantly increases profitability and sustainability.
BioFishency - Model SPB5, SPB30, SPB60 - Single Pass Aquaculture BioFilter
Our proprietary substrate enable us to: Our proprietary substrate enable us to: Reduces water use by 85%, increases fish yields, upgrades existing facilities, small footprint, low maintenance, low energy consumption, plug & play - easy set-up, suitable for different water salinities and for fish or shrimp, low cost – even for limited budgets, low maintenance, small footprint.
BioFishency - Mini RAS Turnkey Fish Farms
BioFishency offers turnkey projects based on its SPB system The "off-the-shelf" Mini Recirculating Aquaculture System (MINI RAS) projects are currently available, and include: BioFishency system(s), tanks, pipes aerators and installation. Each turnkey project is designed and built according to customer specifications/needs. The number of BioFishency systems incorporated into a turnkey project will vary according to the project scope and location.
Aquaculture
Extensive Systems
The fish are being grown in open, earthen ponds or reservoirs. This is the most obsolete growing method, yet very common, especially in developing countries. The limitations for increasing fish production (growing more fish per water cube) are toxic ammonia accumulation (from fish discharge) and luck of oxygen.
Intensive Systems
A flow through system. The fish are being grown in tanks (above ground or set in the ground) and the water are being replaced 3-5 times a day to maintain high water quality.
Recirculating Aquaculture System (RAS)
Fish are grown in indoor systems that allow the farmers to control environmental conditions year round with high density. The system`s water is filtered and recycled into the pond.
Mariculture System
Cultivation of marine organisms in the open ocean, an enclosed section of the ocean, or in tanks, ponds or raceways which are filled with seawater.
