Afron - Picking & Pruning Hydraulic Platform
Designed for work demanding a higher reach, the Afron HAS range provides a selection of heavy duty platform. They can be used for picking, pruning, and cultivating in orchards with tress from 20 feet (6 meters) to 31 feet (9.5 meters), and yet retain the easy to operate and hard wearing features of all Afron models. Afron pruning and picking model HAS 650 features an exposed levelling rod which provides an extra low pivot point, enabling movement through tightly planted avocado groves without damage to low hanging branches.

Afron - Dual Boom Hedger
The HD1100N is a highly versatile medium duty machine developed for narrow cross hedging. The machine is compact and the center boom allows efficient working in tightly planted orchards, such as pistachios, for which it was originally designed. This model is used by a large range of growers and is extremely popular. The HD1100N comprises six 24” diameter saw blades on variable rotating crosses, which give very satisfactory results with smooth, clean cuts, and easy brush removal. It is available as a self-propelled unit mounted on our 6 cylinder power unit.
Afron - Dual Boom Topper Hedger
A variation on the extremely popular HD1100N, the medium duty HD1100-4PU is intended for narrow hedging rather than cross hedging. Its compact size and center boom enable efficient performance in all types of closely planted trees. It is especially suitable for narrow hedging of pistachios and almonds. The six 24” diameter saw blades are mounted on variable speed rotating crosses which attach to our standard 4 cylinder power unit. This machine provides clean, smooth cuts, and easily removes brush from the tree canopy.
Afron - Dual Boom Hedger
This medium duty dual boom hedger unit enables the hedging of both sides of a row in just one pass. Regardless of the adjusted position, the width and angle of the cutting arms are equal in relation to the machine’s centre in our exclusive design. In this model there are eight 24” saw blades mounted on the variable speed rotating wings, giving clean smooth cuts and removing the brush from the trees easily. The HD 1600 is mounted on our 4 cylinder power unit, being self-propelled.
