AmplifyRP Isothermal Amplification - AmplifyRP XRT and XRT+ Pathogen Specific Kits
AmplifyRP - XRT for Banana Bunchy Top Virus (BBTV)
Test Label: FAM probe. Test Format: AmplifyRP® XRT. BBTV is transmitted by the banana aphid and is a major threat to banana growing regions. Plants that are infected may show symptoms of "bunched" leaves at the top of the plant and new leaves may have difficulty emerging. Plants with symptoms often do not produce fruit and serve as a source of inoculum for aphids to feed on and spread the pathogen. (College of Tropical Agriculture & Human Resources, University of Hawaii at Manoa, Plant Disease Dec. 1997 PD-12).
AmplifyRP - XRT for Grapevine Pinot Gris Virus (GPGV)
Test Label: FAM-labeled target probe. Test Format: AmplifyRP® XRT. Internal Control: Yes – Endogenous. AmplifyRP XRT for GPGV is a rapid RNA amplification and detection platform designed for testing grapevines for Grapevine pinot gris virus. This kit includes lyophilized reaction pellets containing the necessary reagents to amplify GPGV RNA and an endogenous RNA control at a single operating temperature (42 °C).
AmplifyRP Isothermal Amplification - AmplifyRP Acceler8 Pathogen Specific Kits
AmplifyRP Acceler8 - Little Cherry Virus 2 (LChV2)
Test Label: Biotin labeled primer / Fam labeled probe. Test Format: AmplifyRP Acceler8. AmplifyRP Acceler8 for LChV2 is a rapid RNA amplification and detection platform designed for field-based or laboratory testing of cherry crops for Little cherry virus 2. Little cherry virus 2 (LChV2) is the causal agent of little cherry disease in sweet cherry and is found in North America and other parts of the world (Mekuria et al, 2014). The pathogen is a mealybug-transmitted virus and does not induce significant foliar symptoms in most sweet cherry cultivars, but does cause virus-infected trees to yield unevenly ripened small fruits with poor flavor (Mekuria et al, 2014).
AmplifyRP Isothermal Amplification - AmplifyRP Discovery Kits
AmpliFire - Isothermal Fluorometer
AmpliFire is a portable, battery-powered, isothermal fluorometer that performs amplification and detection in as little as 10 minutes when paired with AmplifyRP XRT and XRT+ chemistry. Featuring an intuitive touch screen interface, integrated analysis software, and barcode scanning for protocol setup, the AmpliFire offers the ultimate ease of use!
Controls - Negative Controls
Agdia - Negative Control for Alfalfa Mosaic Virus (AMV)
Intended Use: This negative control is intended for use in ELISA test formats. Lyophilized controls should be reconstituted with the sample extract buffer designated in your test user guide.
Controls - Method Controls
Agdia - Method Control
Intended Use: A method control is provided to customers when positive materials are unavailable. The method control is made of anti-animal antibodies and does not contain any virus coat protein. This control is approved for use in the following ELISA test systems: Grapevine fanleaf virus (GFLV), Onion yellow dwarf virus (OYDV), Peach rosette mosaic virus (PRMV), and Potato virus T (PVT). Lyophilized controls should be reconstituted with the sample extract buffer designated in your test user guide.
Pathogen Tests
ImmunoStrip - GIPSA Certified Tests
This ImmunoStrip test is intended for seed quality purposes to determine the presence or absence of the Herculex insect resistance trait (Bt-Cry1F) in transgenic corn. This test system can be used to test individual corn seed and corn leaf or detect 1 transgenic Bt-Cry1F seed in 200 corn seeds (0.5%).
GMO / Trait Tests
Agdia ImmunoStrip - GMO / Trait Test Systems
This Agdia ImmunoStrip for Roundup Ready is designed and validated for detecting the presence or absence of the CP4 EPSPS (RR) protein in single seed and leaves and for testing bulk mixtures. The Agdia Roundup Ready ImmunoStrip is validated for testing transgenic corn, cotton, soybean and sugarbeets with a detection limit of 1 in 1000 seeds (0.1%). Alfalfa was validated with a detection limit of 1 in 100 seeds (1%). Please see product insert for more information. Matrix specific protocols can be found at the links provided to the right. The Agdia ImmunoStrips are commonly used by plant breeders, universities and private testing labs who want fast, clear results.
