Agrotech - Heating / Co2 Systems for Cultivating Crops

When cultivating crops under glass, a good heating system is indispensable. Energy sources, such as oil and natural gas as well as hot water obtained from elsewhere, are too costly to waste.

Agrotech - Irrigation Systems

Irrigation of plants is a complicated matter. A plant will only grow if heating, lighting, ventilation and the supply of water and fertilizer are geared with the most care. The installations regulating these matters are becoming increasingly complicated. Computers are now a part of the horticultural industry. The substrate irrigation device is the heart of a well-conceived water and fertilizer- dosing system, ensuring that water is including main and microelements applied to the plant continuously, and in the appropriate concentration. Agrotech designed an integrated system for regular capillaries or compact pressure-compensated drippers, with the advantages that oxygen is maintained in the dripper, bacterial growth is avoided and the temperature in the drip hose is lower.

Agrotech - High and Low Pressure Humidification Systems

Temperature and relative humidity are undeniably very important factors contributing to the success of your cultivation. Application of a humidification installation creates a better climate for the plants. Agrotech Didam BV delivers and installs low pressure and high pressure humidification systems. Important in determining the right installation are the factors like propagation, water quality, capacity, dimensions of the greenhouse.

Agrotech - Flow System

The ebb-and-flow system is very common and is quite familiar to most growers. The system consists of a shallow, molded plastic bench top which is flooded to water and fertilize the plants. When irrigation is complete the remaining solution drains from the bench and is pumped back to a storage tank. Ebb-and-flow is very versatile because the bench tops can accommodate all sizes of pots and bedding plant flats (although not on the same bench or irrigation zone at the same time because of the differences in water absorption rates between container sizes). The bench tops can be installed on existing frames and, with the rolling feature, ebb-and-flow benching can be 80-90% space efficient. Ebb-and-flow benches are easy to retrofit in clear span greenhouses.

Agrotech - Grow Gutter Systems

Growing Systems resulting in better operating returns for every grower. Thanks to increased yield of top-quality products in environmentally friendly and labour friendly surroundings.

Agrotech - Salad Line Systems (Table or Floating)

Growing crops on a Hydroponic system provides a tremendous gain in production volume as well as production cost reductions. This is due to the efficient use of production space and the mechanization and simplification of labour. Growing with hydroponics is easy and reliable. The return on investment in a hydroponic system is estimated at two to five years. Unique to the system is the ability to adjust the crop spacing multiple times during the cultivation without disrupting the growth. This increases the production volume without necessitating an increase in production space.

Agrotech - Shading and Energy Systems

There are various types of screen systems and different kinds of screen cloth. The choice of what type of screen is determined by answering the question: what do you wish to achieve with the system? Many production greenhouses employ wire systems with aluminum leading edges and slip blocks. The slip blocks are used to prevent slits in the installation and to create a regular narrow opening of the screen cloth, which allows humidity to escape. Because greenhouses are becoming larger and mostly equipped with aluminum gutters, the application of slip blocks compensates for any expansion or shrinkage in the installation. There are also push/pull systems with aluminum leading edges and optional spring blocks. These systems reduce the forces that are exercised on the gable walls.
