Alfco Engineering introduces a user-friendly and efficient Standalone Drafting System designed for precise cattle management. The system includes a keypad that works with E.I.D tags, allowing for two or three-way drafting. It can manage up to 9988 cow numbers, dividing them into 8 groups for future treatments, such as hoof pairing or artificial insemination. The sealed antenna is adaptable for outdoor installations, detecting cattle via eartag, keypad I.D., or tail transponders. An indicator light notifies the operator when drafting is complete. Saloon gates prevent cattle from reversing or allowing a second cow to bolt through. The sorting gate directs identified cows into holding areas, resetting automatically. Remote control operation and an anti-locking device enhance efficiency and safety, while the tail transponder identifies cows needing drafting. The system integrates seamlessly with Censortec/Nedap heat detection for comprehensive herd management.
