The MechFiber 270 six paddle mixer is ideal for the medium sized operator. It can feed over 854mm (33.5") feed barriers and can be easily adapted for rear feed out in narrower feed passages. Designed with the animals` specific nutritional needs in mind, the MechFiber 270`s gentle paddle mixing action produces a consistent ration while maintaining the all-important MechFiber structure. *Due to the limited size of the mixing chamber, it is not recommended to fit the BaleBlend to the MechFiber 270. Machines can be built to individual order and dimensions customised for a variety of farm set-ups. A rear feed-out can be fitted to the MechFiber 270.

The Mech-fiber 320 is a quality engineered diet feeder which is ideal for the medium sized operator. Designed with the animals’ specific nutritional needs in mind the gentle paddle mixing action produces the optimal physical mix without damaging the structure.

Evidence from over the last 20 years indicates that the form of dietary selenium is key to its efficiency. This has led to an industry-wide shift toward safer, organic forms of selenium and a move away from the traditional inorganic form of sodium selenite. Selenite’s high toxicity, pro-oxidant properties and bioavailability have caused the industry to question its use. Sel-Plex is Alltech’s proprietary organic form of selenium yeast. It is an excellent dietary source of selenium and is manufactured to mimic Mother Nature. The selenium from Sel-Plex is safer and better able to meet the higher requirements of livestock raised for rapid growth, reproductive performance and health.

Actigen is a second-generation, unique bioactive product derived from Saccharomyces cerevisiae, selected by Alltech and isolated to create a more effective product in order to optimize gut health. Actigen was developed to be a traceable form of yeast carbohydrate for beef cattle, dairy cows, poultry, pigs, aqua, pet and equine.

The MechFiber 345 has a similar footprint to the KEENAN MechFiber 320. offering a bigger mixing capacity (up to 35% greater) and featuring an enlarged mixing chamber. It features an oil bath driveline with automatic chain lubrication system for easy maintenance and central greasing of all front bearings from one location.

The Mech-fiber 350 sets new standards in ration mixing, combining Keenan’s unique Mech-fiber technology with high capacity. It will feed approximately 100 cows in a single load. This mixer is ideal for medium to large scale producers. With its higher auger, position feeding into high troughs or barriers is done with ease. It comes with or without Bale Blending technology. There are a variety of optional extras that can also be chosen.
