The 7/8” AMS adjustable foot step works on all 7/8” diameter AMS soil probes and 5/8” AMS extensions. The 1” foot step is used with the 1”x36” replaceable tip soil probe. The adjustable foot step allows for additional down pressure to be used to drive the probe. The foot step can be adjusted to fit anywhere on the soil probe or extension so that deeper samples can be taken.

Plastic, stainless steel, brass, or aluminum! Order liners by diameter, length, and material type. The sizes shown are the retaining cylinder size (i.e. liners are sized by the OD of the liner). The 3/4" and 1" liners are 1 3/4" longer than the described length to accommodate the reach-and-grab soil probe system. Call for special size requests.

AMS offers several different replacement tip options that allow you to sample in a variety of soil conditions more efficiently. You can increase your soil recovery by utilizing our regular, mud, clay, oversized, or serrated tips in the appropriate soil conditions. Replacement tips are available for 1” and 1 1/4” AMS replaceable tip soil probes.
