Light Duty Dump Trailers Low Profile / 18" Fixed Sides GVWR 8,000 lb. Our light duty dump trailer is 8,000 GVWR and in 6’x10′ only. It has a one piece steel floor, 18″ fixed sides and a barn doors tailgate. The hydraulic system is fully self-contained in an enclosed toolbox and features two single stage cylinders. This lighter dump trailer is ideal for a half ton pickup or SUV.

Appalachian’s low profile contractor grade dump trailer models have all the benefits of our standard duty dump trailers with these added features: radial tires instead of bias, a heavy duty drop-foot jack (7,000 lb. capacity on 10,000 and 12,000 GVWR and 12,000 lb. capacity on 15,000 GVWR), heavy duty slipper spring suspension on 15,000 GVWR, heavy duty adjustable plate for 2 5/16″ ball or pintle ring, and two way dump-and-spread AND barn doors tailgate. The standard loading ramps slide under the bed, out of the way. The fully self-contained hydraulic system provides steady and powerful dumping action with its dual single stage cylinders. Standard Duty Gooseneck Trailers 8" Channel Frame GVWR 10,000 lb. and 12,000 lb. Appalachian’s Standard Duty Gooseneck Trailers are great for farm work or the occasional user. The main frame is 8″ channel with 3″ channel crossmembers on 24″ centers. This gives a low loaded deck height of 30″ on the 10,000 GVWR model and 32″ on the 12,000 GVWR model. A 4′ dovetail with slide-out ramps for loading equipment makes loading equipment quick and convenient! A treated wood floor, four wheel brakes, stake pockets with rub rail, and a tool tray are all standard components. This cost competitive gooseneck trailer is available in 10,000 GVWR with 15” radial tires or 12,000 GVWR with 16” radial tires at both our Ohio and Pennsylvania sales locations.
