Organic Weeding - Tined Weeder-AS

APV - Tined Weeder for Soil Aeration and Weed Control

The  9/32 in (7 mm) tines take care of the crucial work. They are arranged in a tine spacing of 31.25 mm (1 7/32 inches) and in 6 rows. The main focus is on combating unwanted weeds.

APV - Tined Weeder for Weed Control

The AS 600 M1 Tined Weeder is engineered for effective weed control through its distinctive tine design and arrangement. Featuring 9/32 inch (7 mm) tines in a spacing of 31.25 mm, organized across six rows, this tool effectively disrupts soil crusts to improve aeration while naturally suppressing weed growth by displacing weed germs and allowing them to wither. The tines operate at a depth of 13/16 to 1 3/16 inches (2-3 cm), making them suitable for breaking up the soil surface. The weeder's technical specifications include a working width of 19.6 feet (6 m) and a net weight of 1477 lbs (670 kg). It's designed with mounting compatibility for CAT 2 or CAT 3N and can be used in conjunction with pneumatic seeders. The weeder can be equipped with hydraulic tine adjustments for versatile soil interaction during operation. Additional safety features, such as warning signs and lights, are available. Ideal for agriculture professionals seeking efficient, precise, and adaptable weed control solutions.

Organic Weeding - Tined Weeder Pro VS

APV - Tined Weeder

The Tined Weeder Pro models, VS 150 M1 and VS 300 M1, are innovative agricultural implements crafted for effective soil aeration and weed reduction. These models cater to a variety of agricultural applications including vegetable gardening, cereal cultivation, and special crop plantation. The VS 150 M1 offers a working width of 5.57 feet, whereas the VS 300 M1 extends up to 10.5 feet, accommodating different operational needs. Both models are designed for flexible mounting (front or rear), and they seamlessly integrate with APV's Pneumatic Seeder and Multi-Metering System for synchronized harrowing and seeding. Featuring robust tines that penetrate the soil to a depth between 0.8 to 1.2 inches, the implement efficiently disrupts soil crust, enhancing soil structure, and reducing approximately 90% of weed presence. The construction includes durable tines with soldered carbide tips, improving longevity and performance for extended use in demanding conditions. The models are compatible with varied tractors, requiring 15 HP, and offer various accessories for tailored field operations.

APV - Tined Weeder

The Tined Weeder Pro VS adjusts with its unique tine spring system to the soil and protects the culture plant at the highest level. The tine pressure remains constant at different tine levels. As a result, crops planted on ridges, such as the potato, can also be harrowed. The tine pressure is identical on the ridge crown, ridge flanks and in the furrow.
At its innitial demonstration in rye in June 2018, the VS 600 M1 impressed the visitors. In good conditions, the Tined Weeder Pro could be adapted well to the soil conditions and accordingly the weeding success was clearly visible.

Grassland & Pasture Rehab

APV - Skid Steer Attachments for Grassland and Field Operations

The GK 250 M1 and GW 250 skid steer attachments developed by APV offer robust solutions for demanding grassland and field operations. Primarily designed for enhancing soil closure and seed germination, these attachments are equipped with Cambridge or toothed ring rollers. These rollers are instrumental in creating a finely crumbled seedbed structure and optimal reconsolidation of the soil. Ideal for pasture management, the GK 250 M1 model includes a 0.5 inch tine harrow to precisely prepare the sod, ensuring effective seed pressing by the accompanying trailing roller. Both models can be easily adjusted to suit varying terrain conditions and farm practices, offering operations like leveling, rolling, and harrowing with precise control. These attachments require a skid steer performance of at least 100 HP and a double-acting hydraulic remote for roller adjustment, catering to the needs of professional users in agriculture.
