The SOLO 3 is a rugged hatchery type feeder utilising a vibratory mechanism to deliver food pellets. With proven reliability, the unit is ideal for commercial fish farming applications but also suitable for domestic pond applications. The SOLO 3 can be secured with the supplied chain loop, or alternatively, fixed to a wall, pole or other suitable fixing with custom designed brackets.  For a timed feed & duration, the unit can be driven directly from the AC2002 Controller available from Aquaculture Equipment.

AC2002 Controller System - Designed for the Aquaculture Industry. This was primarily for controlling the quantity and feed duration of feed pellets for young fish. This two channel unit is sealed to IP65 and is accurately controlled via microprocessor. User programmable time Intervals can be set and light threshold sensor for dusk/dawn sensing. This twin channel unit is able to control up to eight hatchery feeders, however our design engineers, O & H Designs offer the flexibility to be able to construct and design a system of feeders and controllers to suit your specific application.

We are pleased to announce the introduction the UK of the new SKIM protein skimmer from Acqua & Co, Italy. The Skim is well established in Europe with many hundreds of units being installed in France alone for the depuration of mussels and other shellfish. It has also proved invaluable in the foodstuffs industry in general where it has been used for a number of applications in the recovery of valuable food additives which would other-wise have been lost to waste.

We can fabricate bespoke fish transport tanks to fit neatly on to your chosen transport vehicle. The larger tanks are made from a 50mm thick polypropylene box sheet to give incredible strength and also offer good insulation due to the air gap in the material. These panels are welded together to create a very strong, clean tank. The lid opening is almost as big as the internal dimensions of the tank, providing an excellent open access point. Drain valves and screens can be fitted to your specifications. Smaller tanks can be fabricated out of 9mm or 12mm thick sheet polypropylene, with the option of recessed drain valves.
