VARIO log splitters can work in several positions making them very effective, maximising productivity. They feature twin speed controls that optimise performance and 12-ton models have a twin speed pump as standard. The newly designed inclined wedge has increased performance by 30%, making it easier to penetrate harder species of wood. Non-slip aluminium inserts on the base of the log splitter allow you to work precisely without having to reposition the log when splitting.

C90 log splitters are the result of the evolution of the classic style of log splitter. With 8.5 tons of power, the thin blade with a sharp incline angle is very effective. The large table provides practical workspace. Aluminium inserts on the base of the table allow for precise working during the splitting phase. The stroke of the wedge is adjustable via a clamp making it possible to save cycle time. The PLUS model, with its double pump, guarantees a very high-efficiency thanks to the automatic double speed. On the side of the operating levers, there are supports for placing the logs without having to pick them up from the ground each time.

BR13 is a log splitter capable of splitting lengths up to 55cm and has an adjustable table. It is ideal for preparing wood for stoves, fireplaces or boilers. Thanks to the double speed and the 13 tons of splitting power it is an efficient, productive and very robust tool. Pro 16K is a shorter length version of our popular PRO-LINE Vertical log splitters. Built to last they feature a non-deformable beam and have a tank separate from the structure. Fast and powerful, ideal for working with large and heavy logs. They come with double speed and are available in 13 & 16-ton versions.

S-line is Balfor’s range of high-performance professional log splitters. Thanks to their top-quality components, high power and speed, the log splitters in this series offer unbeatable value for money. With their construction on a non-deformable beam, separate tank, side log loader (on tractor versions) and inclined DOMEX® wedge, they are the ideal tool for professionals. The CA versions have a log pulling winch as standard, which can pull logs weighing up to 1 tonne. The 13-metre cable winch has an automatic unwinder for fast, one-man operation.

PRO-LINE Vertical is Balfor’s flagship range of log splitters. Compared to the S-line it has a richer range of accessories, including a log pick, chainsaw holder, adjustable lifting attachments, a larger base frame with invited edges, a right-hand high handle and a left-hand movable handle mounted on bearings, and pipes lined with anti-shear steel mesh. Thanks to their robustness, extensive standard equipment and careful construction, they are feature-rich and able to take the most demanding wood.

A16-A22 are traditional style horizontal log splitters, robust and practical thanks to their construction on a non-deformable beam, available in many versions and always with double speed and 4-split wedge. These models can be built bespoke to suit your individual requirements.

The PRO series horizontal log splitters are very robust log splitters, built to be efficient and make the splitting of longer lengths easier and more precise. Due to the smart design, they are easy to transport to different job sites as the fold up to sit behind the back of a tractor or for storage. Thanks to the hydraulic loading (available on all standard versions), the AUTOLOAD system makes it easy to move larger logs on to the bed for splitting. The fully adjustable hydraulic knife allows you to split the log with extreme precision. Once the log is split the table holds the split wood allowing the operator to pick up without the need for bending. The whole frame, as well as the hydraulic wedge, are made of non-deformable DOMEX steel, a guarantee of quality and maximum durability. The LOAD extended bed versions are equipped with rear lights, large trailer wheels and removable drawbar and are used for longer lengths of timber and oversized logs.

NINJA 800 Expert is our newest model and can work on all types of wood, branches and logs and can cut, split and load your timber. By opening or closing the log holder, the operator can decide whether the wood should fall directly into the conveyor or be taken and split into a smaller diameter. The log splitter has 16 tons of power and is equipped with a robust hydraulic knife with two interchangeable splitting wedges.

SHARK is the only saw that can cut logs over 30 cm in diameter, they also allow great visibility when cutting providing safely without obstructing the view of the cutting operation. SHARK EXPERT is the combination of the SHARK sawing machine with a wide conveyor belt with three hydraulic extensions. Because it has three extensions, SHARK EXPERT can benefit from the aid of a 5-metre belt, which when folded away makes it very compact and space-saving. The 40cm wide conveyor help to effortlessly transport the logs after cutting. The conveyor extends is hydraulic and has metal paddles and interchangeable PVC belt sections. SHARK 700 Expert Plus and SHARK 700 Expert Pro complete the Shark 700 Expert with the addition of the lateral log splitter with hydraulic wedge. The wood splitter supplied with the Plus version is 10 tons and the hydraulic wedge is 2/4. The wood splitter supplied in the Pro version is 16 tons and the hydraulic wedges are 2 2/4 and 6. In both the split length is 55 cm. The log splitter can be folded up during transport.
