Behlen is proud to introduce the Big Bin series designed for high capacity operations. As with our entire line of equipment, Behlen includes outstanding features, with an extensive history of excellence in design, quality, and service. The Big Bin® Series includes clear-span roof structures and capacities of more than 1,500,000 bushels of storage. In addition to larger capacities, the Big Bin® series has higher load ratings, and  larger equipment mounting areas, all with the Behlen reputation of sturdy, longlasting construction. The clear-span roof system allows for an open floor to improve unloading efficiencies which adds to bottom-line profitability.

The Behlen roof is designed to stand up to high winds, snow loads, temperature cables, and heavy loads from overhead  equipment.  Pitched at 30° for optimum filling, and provided with a large deck at the peak, the Behlen roof is designed to stand up to demanding requirements of commericial storage facilities.

The stiffened series of bins has broad roof decks with large diameter openings and a variety of peak loads available to meet customer needs. The roof panels are rigidized between the extra tall 3-1/2" high ribs and attached at the eave with a continuous angle iron and rib brackets giving added strength against wind.

Behlen roofs are manufacturer certified to withstand 40 lbs./sq. ft. ground snow load. Gentle 30° roof pitch allows for optimum filling. Roof panels are 3-1/2" high with four stair steps on both sides. This provides outstanding strength against snow, wind, and other loads. Roof panels are roll-formed for a precision fit.

Designed to meet virtually any grain storage requirement. By utilizing a computer-based system, Behlen engineers can turn all-steel rigid frame buildings into highly efficient, low-cost grain storage structures. Building design options include roof slopes that range from 1:12 to 7:12, and grain depths of up to 20` against building sidewalls. Behlen grain storage buildings can provide the storage alternative you have been looking for to solve your large storage needs. Behlen grain storage structures can be of all-steel rigid frame....a combination of precast concrete walls and rigid frame. Building panels can be galvalume or color-coated for long lasting weather ability.

Panels can be easily moved. Systems have a long life span. Engineered for easy installation.

Behlen bulk bins are a cost effective way to store smaller amounts of material. The 45° hopper provides for easy unloading. Couple these with any one of our three standard structural supports for quick loading of semi-trailers or grain carts.

Behlen offers two options for ladders. Ladders with a hoop and strap cage and double-wide platform.Straight ladders with fall restraint cables.

Behlen offers two options of exterior wall stairs. Our commercial stairs offer sturdy industrial construction with rest platform landings. The light-duty version provides an economical alternative, giving our customers the ability to select the option that best fits their needs.

The Behlen Big Bin series can be supplied with an optional peak safety rail.  The rail encloses the flat peak area for added safety protection.The Behlen hot-dipped galvanized roof stairs come in pre-assembled sections. The mounting brackets and handrails are easily attached and make quick work of installation on the bin roof.  The full tread steps and handrails offer safe and secure access from eave to peak
