The High Rise 3 combines easy management and animal welfare resulting in the highest laying performance. The HighRise 3 system is the system to choose when you have concerns about the quality of the rearing of your birds. The system can be closed at several stages allowing you to give the birds some extra training and to teach them how to behave in an aviary system.

The Salmet nest provides a very hygienic environment for egg production and helps reduce heat accumulation inside the nest. The nest material is also very unattractive for red-mite. The nest provides hens with a comfortable and hygienic environment to lay their eggs. The high nest entrance allows birds to easily enter and leave the nest. Sliced curtains at the entrance create shadows in the nest and therefore help avoid mislaid eggs. At night the floor is lifted and the nest is closed so the birds have no entrance and the nest keeps clean.

Salmet`s Combi Barn Aviary System comes with two separate sections; The Nest section - complete with nests that you can close up, multi-level perches, water lines (drip trays optional) and feed chain on the upper level. The Voliere section - featuring multi-level perching, feed chain and water lines.

The success in egg production highly depends on the bird´s growing period. The S1000 rearing system adapts to the needs of your birds. From day old chick to pullet, access to the feed through is fully adjustable. The sliding feed gate is run by a clever mechanism to manually adjust space as the birds grow.

The PS 2800 layer cage for parent stock guarantees maximum hatching egg production and fertility. The system is available from 2 tiers up to 6 tiers. The side partitions of each section are designed to ensure social contact between the birds as well as even distribution of light. The cage bottoms are made of cross and longitudinal tensile wires of the same thickness that present a smooth surface for improved egg roll-out. The middle of the cage floor is enforced to ease natural mating. 2 drinking lines are installed on each tier one of which is adjustable. This assists with flocks where uniformity is somewhat uneven and enables smaller birds to reach the nipples.

The Salmet manure drying tunnel ensures a reduction of the moisture content of the manure to 10-15%. The manure that comes from the cages is carried in a zigzag motion from the upper tiers to the bottom tiers. During this process `warm` air from the sheds or air from natural environment is blown directly onto the manure. The combination of solid and perforated belts guarantees a fast and cost effective drying of the manure. The final product can either be used as a natural fertilizer or be further processed into pellets.

A direct source of additional profit. With the Salmet manure composting unit, poultry manure is treated and processed properly, and can be used as a valuable organic fertilizer. The manure composter is built on a framework which slowly moves forward on a rail construction. These rails are mounted on concrete walls of 330 cm high. Once the fresh manure is put on the concrete floor of the pit, the composting unit begins passing through the compost lane and it mixes, homogenises, constantly aerates, and moves the manure towards the rear of the lane making room for another deposit of manure. When the  composting unit reaches the end of the track, it is shifted to the next lane by means of a simple and effective winch unit.

The durability of metal rods with the advantages of the plastic bars. The conveyor is extremely durable and allows a very gentle handling of the eggs. The egg cross conveyor is convenient for short and long distances. The conveyor side channels are very low, which allows direct transfer from the elevator to the cross conveyor. By using an articular joint, different inclinations from up to 18° (32%) are manageable, without having to stop production. The egg lift system is equipped with a telescopic shaft, moving the entire egg cross conveyor from one tier to the next.
