Wood Pellet
Square Footprint Silos
Our standard square footprint silos are manufactured from galvanised steel and provide a robust, reliable and cost effective method of storing your wood pellet fuel. Our Square Silo modular design allows them to be delivered to site flat packed for quick and easy assembly. Capacities range from 3 – 20 ton with standard footprints of 2m, 2.4m and 2.8m. Available in both indoor and outdoor models these Square Silos are designed to prevent condensation and moisture ingress and maintain pellet quality over the life of its use.
Fabric Silo Systems
Our Fabric Silo Systems are designed mainly for indoor use where room height and assembly space is limited. The fabric used has an extremely high tensile strength and is breathable, allowing dust free deliveries without the need for extraction. Capacities range from 3 – 6 ton with standard footprints of 2m, 2.2m, 2.5m and 3.0m square. The galvanised steel framework is 2m in height but the fabric will expand up to a maximum of 2.5m in order to fit in its full capacity.
Wood Chip
Cylindrical Silos
Our standard 10, 12 and 16 sided wood chip silos are manufactured from galvanised steel and provide a perfect outdoor storage environment for bulky wood chip fuel. They can also be modified for use with wood pellet fuel by inserting a conical base at the bottom. Their modular design allows them to be delivered to site flat packed for quick and easy assembly. Standard diameters of between 3-6m are available incorporating capacities from 40-160m3. Special ventilation panels help prevent condensation and maintain the moisture content of the fuel.
Wood Chip Intake Systems
Our standard silo loading system consists of a galvanised steel intake bunker and three screw augers working in tandem to transport the woodchip into the top of the silo. Intake speeds of 45 – 60m³ per hour are available as standard and the system is run using both a key switch and a foot switch to ensure safe operation.
