Brunette Machinery Company’s fully automatic, high speed Uni-Log Feeder delivers top productivity for your mill’s high tech future.The Brunette Uni-Log Feeder has been developed to singulate and feed one log at a time from an infeed transfer deck to debarker infeed conveyor or onto a sawmill carriage.  The first quadrant acts as a log stop and loader, the first and second quadrants acting together singulate the logs and the second quadrant acts as the single log feeder.  The simple but unique design of the two quadrant assemblies has proven to be very effective on a variety of species and diameter ranges.

The Brunette Drum Chipper is an industry leader in producing quality pulp chips from short material that is difficult to control. Features adjustable chip length to provide operators with the flexibility to choose their desired chip length. Allows quick knife changes that can be done by one person. Uses single piece tapered knives that process material across their full width, providing even wear and longer life. Accommodates large pieces through its wide throat.

The Brunette BioSizer® is a rugged high speed secondary grinder specifically designed for production of a fine consistent product. The Brunette BioSizer is built to be low maintenance with a high inertia rotor and fixed hammers.  Four rows of staggered hammers provide maximum bites per revolution.  This grinder allows for processing of oversized “bush-grind” hog fuel, trim blocks, and wood chips, all to be converted to a fine consistent product size for the biomass industry. The main frame is protected with internal bolt-on replaceable wear liners. The grate has a progressive rectangular hole pattern and can be easily changed out to other hole patterns to suit required product size.

It features a rugged, simple design that efficiently separates valuable wood fibre from dirt and rock as it debarks. Identical modular construction minimizes the need for large spare parts inventory and robust design makes the Brunette Reclaimer easy and inexpensive to maintain.

Brunette has expanded its already successful Chipper line-up to include a Whole Log Chipper. This horizontal feed chipper has a powered upper pressroll and powered lower bedroll to control the feed of the logs to give a high quality chip. Two rotors are available – the standard rotor for up to 1¼” nominal pulp chip, and our new MicroChip rotor which is designed to produce a ¼” nominal chip. Each rotor can be outfitted with our standard Brunette Quick-Change Knife system or the “disposable” Key Knife system. The Brunette Drum Chipper 4840 is designed with a horizontal feed (including feedworks), and either a bottom or rear discharge. Available in two models: the 4840H4V Veneer and the 4840HT Sawmill.
