Bystron - Wood Chipper Attachment for Tractors

The PIRANA wood chipper is engineered for efficient crushing of branches, wood, and wood waste. It employs a bi-directional self-feeding cutting screw, coupled with an automatic feeder, and operates entirely through mechanical means. Compatible with tractors generating 10 kW or more, the device attaches to the tractor’s three-point hitch as per the customer's specifications. The chipper accommodates a variety of materials, including leafy branches, needles, dry or wet wood, boards, and beams. During operation, branches are fed into the machine from behind the tractor, and the resulting wood chips are ejected through a chimney, either onto the ground or into a container. Designed for versatility, the chips produced are ideal for use in boilers or fireplaces and can also be utilized for soil amendment. The final chip is asymmetrical, lightweight, and resistant to mold, boasting a high calorific value. The accompanying accessories such as the double bagging chimney and bagging chimney enhance efficiency and usability.

The chipper comes with an automatic feeder and can handle various types of branches, including those with leaves, needles, or even dry and wet wood. It can also process boards and beams, making it versatile for different types of wood waste. Designed for manual movement on firm surfaces such as paved areas, gardens, or dry meadows, the machine features a red hopper for branch insertion and a safety brake for user protection. The resulting wood chips are ejected to the ground or into an attachable rash bag, making them suitable for use in boilers, fireplaces, and soil conditioning. The chips are airy and have a high calorific value, ensuring efficient burning and preventing mold.

The Six-Strand Steel Rope SEAL 6 x 19S - FC is a robust and resilient wire rope ideally suited for various heavy-duty applications in forestry and industry. This rope is wound in parallel layers, with an outer layer comprising wires of larger diameters to enhance abrasion resistance. The core is composed of hemp fibers, providing a shock-absorbing effect, although it offers less flexibility compared to other types. This rope excels in uses demanding high impact load resistance including forestry ropes, wood winches, lifting, cranes, excavators, drills, gantries, weights for weighing operations, mining, and hanging applications. It is constructed in compliance with EN 12385-2 and DIN 3058 standards, featuring a SEAL 144 wire composition and a 6x19S-FC design structure.

Its core is constructed from hemp fibers, granting it reduced flexibility, but enhancing its capability to endure shock loads effectively. This type of rope is particularly suitable for forestry applications, including wood winches and ropes.
