Canon CMOS sensors offer expanded possibilities for integrators and end users developing precision agriculture imaging applications. By combining ultra high resolution with the ability to independently detect in the visible and NIR spectrums, Canon CMOS sensors provide expanded capabilities for precision agriculture imaging systems mounted on drones, airplanes, and satellites. In general, greater resolution allows for larger imaging areas at higher altitudes which can result in increased efficiencies through reduced flight time or covering larger areas in the same amount of time.
