BackYard Greenhouse Kits

Looking for an efficient, year round growing solution for your home? The Ceres BackYard home greenhouse kits are designed for your home greenhouse. Engineered for local conditions by our structural engineers and built to last with galvanized steel framing. All structural materials are prefabricated and shipped directly to the job site for easy installation. Our BackYard Greenhouse Kits allow growers to be more self-reliant and sustainable by providing a space to grow food all year long. Our standard sizes for the BackYard Kit are 18’x24’ and 18’x30’ (are also available in incremental lengths of 6ft). They are perfect for smaller growing spaces like residential properties, community gardens, urban plots or school grounds.

Greenhouse Kits

This passive solar greenhouse kit is a stable, easy to control growing environment. Our energy-efficient greenhouse design is created for maximum productivity, used in applications for which the highest yields are expected. Kits come in two depths: 23’ and 30’ deep and are scalable in increments of 4’. The HighYield™ Kit is built with hot-dipped galvanized steel 2” x 4” framing sections, pre-cut to length. Along with highly insulated IMPs, glazing, and doors, our greenhouse kits include exhaust fans and intake vents, sized to meet the cooling load of the greenhouse (depending on the climate). We ship all greenhouse materials to the job site where the greenhouse is erected by a local contractor. We recommend getting a Construction Manager to help in the construction process, especially if the the goal is to have a commercial greenhouse kit.

Ceres’ unique modular greenhouse kit design allows for easy expansion. Greenhouses and headhouses can be built in phases and configured in many different ways, so you can continuously add on to your greenhouse based on your needs and site conditions.

Custom Greenhouses

Custom Commercial Greenhouses

Ceres commercial custom grow greenhouse design are passive solar inspired structures designed for spaces over 3,000 sq. ft. These dimensions are customized to suit the site and operational layout. Our custom commercial greenhouses are constructed with steel framing, the strongest and longest-lasting framing material. Framing can span up to 80′ (depending on snow loads), allowing greater flexibility with layout options. Custom projects have longer design times and slightly higher build costs than our greenhouse kit options. Pricing starts at $45 per square foot.

Custom Residential Greenhouses

We provide consulting, design and architectural drawing, and engineering services for our custom residential greenhouses. Custom residential greenhouse designs are based on our passive solar design principles. Size and potential complexity of a project are determining factors for how customized a project can be. We will work with your existing Architect or Engineer to conceive and implement the greenhouse that fits your goals.
