CMP - Crab Salad Meat Line
CMP manufactures a Crab Salad Meat line for the extraction of fibrous meat from crab bodies. This turn-key unit features multiple unit operations to accomplish this process. Once claws have been removed, cooked crab bodies are conveyed to a body chopper via an incline conveyor. The body chopper minces the body sections exposing the meat. The product is then transferred to a rotary separation drum that uses water and a tumbling action to separate large pieces of shell. A riffle board is then used to continue finer separation before moving to a vacuum screen for cartilage removal. The separated meat is then transferred to a dewatering shaker for final preparation, pressing and packaging. The Crab Salad Meat line can process approximately 1,000 pounds per hour of raw material.
CMP - Shell Crusher
CMP manufactures a Shell Crusher for various shellfish products including lobster, and crab. The primary use of this machine is to reduce the volume of waste. The unit features a welded flat bar along a drum to finely crush shells. A metal screen is used to determine the desired particle size of the finished product. The Shell Crusher is a stand-alone unit that can be fed with a conveyor and hopper arrangement
CMP - Crab Press
CMP manufactures a Crab Press to remove excess liquid from crab meat. This unit features perforated pans and a pneumatic cylinder press to accomplish this process. Pressed crab is then transferred to plastic packaging. The Crab Press is typically part of our turn-key Salad Meat Line but can be used independently in any fibrous meat extraction process, such as crab and lobster.
CMP - Lobster Leg Roller
CMP manufacture a lobster leg roller for the extraction of meat from lobster legs. This unit features knurled rollers that grip and roll leg shells to extract the meat. The Lobster Leg Roller can be sold as a stand alone unit or combined with multiple stations on the same table. Safety guards are included to protect the operators during meat removal.
CMP - Double Glaze Conveyor
CMP manufactures a double glaze conveyor for the extension of shelf life of frozen seafood products such as: salad meat blocks, whole cooked or raw lobster, lobster tails, snow crab sections, etc. Trays of product are carried using a stainless steel mesh belt into a tank of glazing liquid then elevates out of the liquid. As it continues to travel on the belt, liquid drains from the product before travelling back down into the glazing liquid. The trays then elevate out of the glazing tank and are conveyed to the packaging area.
