The Model SB Float Valve System is designed to provide reliable winter endurance for single animal access by continuously warming the water using ground heat. This system prevents freezing of the valve and plumbing, even during periods of zero animal activity. Cleaning the device is straightforward; simply lift out the tub, swirl the water, and empty it. The dimensions of the Model SB waterer are 23.5 inches in diameter and 48 inches in height. Key components include a 5 1/2-inch polyethylene float, a 3/8-inch heavy-duty valve, and a flexible hose. The entire assembly is made of durable 1/4-inch polyethylene plastic. The system supports up to 65 dry lot beef heads or 35 range cows. Optional accessories include a filter fabric and an ice chipper. Base tube construction varies, with options including insulated and non-insulated configurations. The heavy-duty valve supports pressures up to 120 PSI with a maximum flow rate of 16 gallons per minute.
