Being Cogent

Why did we name our company Cogent Fibre? Of course, the word fibre as in wood fibre is evident so we will just explain Cogent. Cogent, the word, is defined as: precise, convincing, relevant, and to the point. As the name of our company, it means we will always be clear and precise in our business dealings, we will be convincing in our abilities, we will remain relevant in changing markets and will always be straightforward, and to the point.

Integrity

Integrity is our core principle. It is the very fibre from which our company was built. We honour our commitments, hold ourselves and our employees to the highest ethical standards, and expect no less from our suppliers, partner companies and customers.

Professionalism

Professionalism is, in many ways, an extension of our core principle of integrity. We diligently adhere to courtesy, honesty, and responsibility in our interactions with customers, suppliers, partners and employees, which combined with a level of excellence, extends beyond the standard commercial consideration and legal obligation.

Our people are the engine that runs our company. We measure performance with honesty, provide coaching where necessary and encourage our people to grow both as employees and individuals.
