Single Double Wheel Ditchers
Cosmeco - Single-Double Wheel Ditchers
Cosmeco rotary single-double-wheel ditchers have been designed and developed for many different water management purposes, such as excavation, maintenance or cleaning of collector ditches and furrows. Thanks to their rotors equipped with knives and plates, the soil is crumbled up and then removed. The earth can be thrown several meters away, or be positioned beside the ditch edge by account of the special adjustable hoods available on demand. The newly created ditch proves to be defined and chiselled, and makes the water flow away from unwanted areas or distribute itself along irrigation networks.
Cosmeco - Single-Double Wheel Ditchers for Hydraulic Arm
Cosmeco rotary Single-double wheel ditchers are essential when there are particular digging conditions, such as maintenance and/or ex-novo creation of ditches placed near borders, roads or private access ways, common lands, or where there are crops to protect, basically all those circumstances that may require a unique direction for the removed soil to respect the contiguous areas.
Single Wheel Ditchers
Cosmeco - Single Wheel Ditchers
The wide range of rotary-single wheel ditchers has been designed and developed by Cosmeco for several water management purposes, such as the excavation, maintenance or cleaning of collector ditches and furrows. Thanks to their rotor equipped with knives and plates, the soil is crumbled up and then removed. It can be thrown a few meters away, or be positioned beside the edge of the ditch on account of the special adjustable hoods provided on demand. The newly created ditch is sharp and chiselled, and it makes water flush from unwanted areas or flow through the irrigation network.

Cosmeco - Double Wheel Ditchers with Special Sections
Cosmeco designs and manufactures rotary double-wheel-ditchers for the creation, management and maintenance of ditches, drainage waterways and irrigation canals. The strength and efficiency of our double-wheel-ditchers make them ideal on all types of soil even for long-distances and very demanding jobs. The adjustable deflectors regulate the launch and positioning of the removed soil which can be thrown far away or along the banks. Thanks to the two rotors that work on both sides the final result is a perfectly clean ditch. Learn more about our rotary double-wheel-ditchers.
Vertical Ditchers
Cosmeco - Vertical Ditchers
The many different models of Cosmeco vertical ditchers are, without a doubt, one of the most interesting innovations for water management and control. There machines were especially conceived for water drainage or irrigation but can also dig slits, as well as lay down pipes and tubes. The vertical rotor makes a cut in the ground, whilst the curved blades collect and then remove the dug material by throwing it on the ditcher right side. Lastly the rear shaper determines the depth and finishes the cut by compacting its base and walls. The final result is nearly perfect, the walls are well-defined and smooth, requiring close to none further maintenance. Even when the slit appears closed on the surface, the water, which damages the crops or impedes the necessary work, is still flowing, because the cut will always be open underground.
Bedformers and Plastic Mulch Layers
Cosmeco - Compact Horticulture Bed Former
Cosmeco compact bedformer is an excellent machine that has the ultimate aim to create the seedbeds - last and important step for soil preparing – for the harmonious development of roots and plants, with remarkable and visible results on the crop quality. The tilling work performed by our compact bedformer, solves the problem of excessive soil compaction by reconstructing its porosity and incentivizing the recirculation of air and water. This ensures a fast germination and optimal growth conditions for asparagus, strawberries, soft fruits (berries), potatoes, manioc and all other crops which need this specific and effective cultivation method. Cosmeco beformer is equipped with two lateral rotors, which finely grind the soil and then channel it at the centre the frame, creating a soft trapezoidal-shaped bed which is firm but not too compressed.
Cosmeco - Cultivation Film Layer for Low Tunnels
Cosmeco film layer for small tunnels is of great help in the protected agriculture field in particular for the forcing and semi-forcing cultivation techniques, namely those applications that – as well as protecting plants from low temperatures – speed up the harvest of a few weeks.
