The Cross Gazelle Beet Washer was first designed and manufactured under licence for Armer Salmon who sold in to beet growers throughout Europe. In the 1980s,1990s & early 2000s all beet machinery made by Cross held the Armer Salmon name. Today Cross keep the beet machinery in full production and continue to develop on machines which were there from the beginning  with Armer Salmon like the Gazelle Beet Washer.

The Cross Hippo 2 Beet Washer was first designed as a transportable option of the Hippo 1. This machine uses the same hopper and Elevators as the Rhino so not only is it transportable but it also now has double the output of the Hippo1. This machine uses a combination of patented cleaning and chopping elements to ensure that you can deliver a quality clean sample of beet for any application. The Hippo can be used for the dirtiest of beet crops to ensure clean and safe cattle feed. This Washer  has a pre-cleaning feature which helps the water last longer per cycle. After the pre-cleaner the beet washer enters the Washing Cylinder and can be washed at various intensities depending on the operators desired cleanliness. After the washing tumbler the beet exits the machine where it can be loaded in to a trailer whole or chopped.

The Cross slurry tanker range is manufactured in capacities from 1150 gallons (5,228 litres) to 6,000 gallons (27,277 litres) to cover a wide range of farming needs. Slurry tanker can be built to your specifications giving you the benefits of the Cross flexible manufacturing process.Cross slurry tankers are manufactured using 6mm high quality steel. All tankers are mounted on a strong internal chassis for extra strength. To provide a high level of corrosion resistance all Cross slurry tankers are given two coats of priming paint followed by two finish coats of 2 pack paint giving long lasting durability. Tanker models up to 3,750 Gallons can also be galvanised.

Bomech Trailing Shoes are the proven market leader worldwide when it comes to slurry application and for this reason Cross use Bomech in all trailing shoe applications. Noted worldwide as the only "True Trailing Shoe" due to its ability to leave the slurry spreading procedure hands free for the operator. Most Trailing shoes are mast mounted meaning the operator has to adjust height on the move. The Bomech trailing shoe is truly trailed and does this for you.

The Cross Ring Roller Range is manufactured in widths from 3 meters to 12.2 meters. All Cross Rollers are fitted with custom manufactured steel rings as standard. Cast iron rings can be fitted also upon request. EN24T shafts are also fitted as standard. Cross Rollers are now fitted with 60mm bearings as standard. All Cross Rollers can be fitted with a selection of various tine tool bars. Cultivation tines and leveling paddles are the most popular choice. All Tines and paddles are individually hydraulically adjustable.
