CrystalVision - Roots Scanning Camera and GFP Camera

RootCam is a tool designed for monitoring the roots of a plant through the subsoil. It is suitable for use by researchers, farmers, and gardeners who are interested in understanding the growth and development of the root systems of their plants. The data analysis can be done independently or with the help of our paid service. RootCam uses a transparent tube with a diameter of 6 cm and a length of approximately 100 cm that is buried in the ground. A small camera mounted on a rail moves through the tube. By capturing high-resolution images of the roots over time, our clients gain insights into the health and vigor of their plants, as well as identify any potential problems or issues that may be affecting their growth. The RootCam system is a powerful tool that can help users optimize the care and management of their plants, leading to healthier, more productive plants.

CrystalVision - Automatic Fish Feeder

Feeding fish is a complex and important process that takes place on a daily basis where accuracy is a fundamental criterion. As part of the process, it is necessary to adjust the quantities and types of food to the different pools according to the fish species, their age, weight, and the number of fish in the pond. All of these change from time to time and in order to create optimal growth conditions for the fish, makes it necessary to divide the daily amount of food into portions at intervals throughout the day.

CrystalVision - RootCam Camera System

Our RootCam camera system is designed specifically for monitoring the roots of plants through the subsoil. It utilizes a transparent tube with a diameter of 6 cm and a length of approximately 100 cm that is buried in the ground, along with a small camera mounted on a rail that moves through the tube. The camera takes high-resolution images every 20 minutes with a resolution of approximately 0.01 mm (2592 x 1944 at 2500 Dpi). These images are saved on a Raspberry Pi device, which is easily accessible via a network cable. The RootCam is powered by a 12 VDC converter (on 220 VAC mains) and comes with a user-friendly interface for ease of use.
