CTM have designed their new generation ROCKSTAR2 de-stoner/ separators to offer greater flexibility, increased productivity and reduced running costs. The new web and star combination allows much greater use where soils vary across the field, whereas in the past it’s been a star machine or web.

The ROPA Tiger 6, the most powerful sugar-beet lifter in the world, debuted at the Agrosalon trade fair and awarded a gold medal for innovation for its overall design. The heart of the machine is the new 700 hp or 768 hp engine with pump-nozzle injection and 16.12 litre capacity. The extra power compared to the Tiger 5 is up to 142 hp or 105 kW. The new machine design has perfectly integrated drive system with automatic slope compensation, which is extremely gentle on the soil. The more powerful bunker-emptying mechanism provides faster trailer loading on the move. The comfort cabin with glass touch terminal, WLAN interface and numerous automatic programmes offers top driving comfort for the best lifting results.

After 18 years of 3 axle Tiger production, ROPA has launched its new much asked for 2-axle beet harvester: ROPA Panther. The new model features the latest developments of ROPA`s sugar beet topper/harvester resulting in a better yield and daily performance, advanced controls and innovative self-levelling system. Ideal for UK contractors, the new Panther is designed for unloading into trailers whilst on the move. The unique self-levelling frame ensures both a smooth ride and an amazing stable platform for beet lifting / flow through the machine into trailers. 4 hydraulic cylinders provide automated slope adjustment keeping euro-Panther level on slopes while the lifting unit guides itself by following the land contours.

The long wheel base Rockstar 1700 is available with up to 4 webs or 3 webs plus stars and a working width of 1700mm. Choose from a range of web pitch options to suit different soil conditions. Staggered web belting ensures even soil distribution across the bed. The powerful, variable speed scrubber web has reversible action for heavy clod conditions. Large diameter intake discs retain material within the working width of the machine.A trailing link gives better flotation and less flexing. Choose from full width or multi digging shares with optional stone trap fingers. Individual steering axles with high level link self-centre for effective bed alignment and ensure unrestricted bed flow beneath the machine.

Ridgestar is built to the same high standards and innovation as Rockstar and is designed to produce a wide, flat topped bed with wide ridge bottoms for the placement of stones and clods while leaving space for tractor wheelings.

ROPA combines under the name R-Concept its new intuitive operating philosophy. A large 12.1 inch touch screen performs as the information and command centre of the machine. From here the operator monitors the entire machine, receiving information about operating conditions and performance data and is able to adjust functions and, thus, improving machine perfomance.

Weed Surfer is designed for the effective cutting of extended weed growth in arable crops and weed beet. The original Weed Surfer weighs just 700kg suitable for standard tractor pickup hitch. It has ten 4 blade rotors giving a 6.4 metre cutting path. Drive is from the tractor’s 1000 rpm power take off shaft through machine input slip clutch to gearboxes interconnected with drive shafts. CTM now offer a wider Weed Surfer with fourteen 4 blade rotors giving a 8.9 metre cutting path.
