Cucchi - Bed Former
The bed former AS2 Cucchi is an agricultural machine used to create trunks, or beds, in the ground. The trunks are mounds of soil approximately 30 to 70 cm high with variable width. The machine is used for the cultivation of white asparagus, which must grow in the absence of sunlight to maintain its white color. Usually towed by a tractor, it is made up of a sturdy frame, two lateral rotors equipped with hoes which pick up the earth from the sides, crumble it and convey it via the paddles towards the bonnet which acts as a rear level.
Cucchi - Bed Former
The special construction of the ASU bedformer makes it ideal for soft beds with trapezoidal profile and not excessively compact for growing strawberries, asparagus, saffron, berries and similar crops demanding the formation of a soil mound. It can work centrally or shifted to the right and left within the profile of the tractor; in particular, it can be used under glass alongside the supports. The soil is fractured after removal and sent to the left, creating a mound for earthing up by means of an adjustable flap. The rear levelling plate sets the height of the mound and flattens it. Before using the machine, we recommend tillage of the soil for at least 20 cm depth. Can also be used for covering tunnels or for creating drainage channels, where the soil can be dispersed by spreading.
Cucchi - Earthing-Up Machines Amrs
They are suitable for horticulture to fix quickly to the soil the plastic sheet that covers hothouses, also with small tractors. The tool burrows into the soil, so the soil is conveyed on the side: it forms the base of hothouses or tunnels fixing them. It is suitable for the creation or to clean little ditches or drains too.
Interceps for Vineyards and Orchards
Cucchi - Inter-Row Rotary Harrow
The ES inter-row rotary harrow series is suitable for tillage below rows in vineyards, orchards and other crops in rows. Its extremely sturdy construction allows it to work in heavy, stony and tenacious soils. The head of the rotary harrow breaks up clods and mixes them with plant residues or fertilisers. It has a hydraulic lateral displacement system controlled by sensor, which allows it to be used especially on recently planted crops.
Cucchi - Inter-Row Rotary Hoe
The inter-row rotary hoe SI 1 series is designed for tilling the soil, weed control, underneath vineyards, orchards and other crops in rows. Its extremely sturdy construction allows it to work in heavy, tough soil with high grass presence. It has a hydraulic lateral displacement system controlled by a sensor, which allows it to be used especially in young plants.
Cucchi - Shoot Tipping / Mechanical Weeding Machine
The shoot tipping machine / mechanical weeding machine was designed to eliminate the grass growing underneath grapevines and to cut off vine shoots (suckers). Wires in various materials can be inserted onto the rotor, with a simple and rapid method of replacement. It offers hydraulically-operated lateral movement and mechanical protection against impact so it can work both at an angle or in parallel. The support wheels regulate the cutting and suckering height.
Cucchi - Front Inter Row Machinery
This particular series of front interceps machinery equipment is suitable for all crops that need to be tilled between the plants (vineyards, orchards). They are designed for use with front linkage tractors or rear-mounted tractors.

Cucchi - Subsoiler for Vineyards and Orchards
This subsoiler consists of a resistance monolithic high strength tubular frame of 120x120mm to which are screwed on two “Michel” type curved anchors. This configuration allows to vary the distance between the two anchors from a minimum of 90 to a maximum of 160 cm adapting perfectly to the tractor wheel track and to the distance of the rows.
Cucchi - Rotary Hoes
These rotary hoes are particularly sturdy and suitable for finely-tilling soil and getting it ready for sowing after ploughing. The following versions are available with central or lateral version: L for small tractors with operating widths between 110 cm and 180 cm; M for operating widths between 125 cm and 220 cm; P for operating widths between 220 cm and 250 cm.
